Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke with him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods in which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the business's success. Among the most important is the Search API, which powers results on the Search Results page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work carefully with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search relevancy enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly team that focuses on strong onboarding and continuous support. New group members are assisted through the ramp-up procedure up until they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is valuable to other team members when facing difficulties. We value a culture where wins are celebrated honestly, and obstacles are owned together. We also make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep camaraderie strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy with the expert growth I've achieved considering that joining Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years earlier. Throughout this journey, I have actually established deep domain knowledge, stayed updated with progressing industry practices, and regularly dealt with modern-day technologies. My commitment to constant learning and impact resulted in my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my function as one of the team's technical leads. Most recently, I've taken on the obligation of being individuals Leader for the team-an interesting next step that permits me to support others in their growth while continuing to drive technical direction. I take pride in the reality that my long period here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to progress technically and take on higher leadership Q. What should somebody looking to join us in #Tech understand? A. Realtor.com uses amazing technical obstacles, from massive data managing to real-time search, customization, and AI/ML integration.
